Calgary 1920s Charming, Character House Revived

This partial remodel, involving the main floor of a classic 1920 house in the Calgary Inglewood area, set out to respect the character of the original house while infusing a modern sensibility of space, light, and materials.
The house had remained largely unchanged from its original design, except for the kitchen updates in the 1950s. The clients loved the character of the older home and wanted its rehabilitation to respect and maintain its original grace and charm.
The new design opened the floor plan, added a new kitchen, new flooring, crown moulding and lighting.
